Working for a brighter future across Southeast Ohio.

Promoting Community & Economic Development

The Buckeye Hills Foundation promotes community and economic development through research, education, charity, and training conducted in support of the overall mission of Buckeye Hills Regional Council. By convening leaders, officials, practitioners, and stakeholders across sectors through the primary tenets of the Foundation, the opportunities provided will improve the quality of life for residents in Southeast Ohio.

A Meal for Mom, Dinner for Dad

As Southeast Ohio’s Area Agency on Aging, Buckeye Hills Regional Council often receives desperate calls from individuals seeking help finding food resources. Buckeye Hills has seen a significant increase in these calls in recent months, and the community organizations where we often send these individuals are facing dwindling resources and the pressures of inflation. As an organization, we see a significant gap where social services end and food insecurity begins. To address this need, we are launching A Meal for Mom & Dinner for Dad to provide older adults with the resources to bridge this gap.
